The Schlumpf high speed drive has a large gear transmission ratio and is suited to riding in very high gears. A small sprocket (e.g. 27 teeth) shows great impact in a big gear with 67 teeth. High speed drive is ideal for many applications; especially folding bikes (Brompton, Birdy, etc.) profit from it being modest, wireless, low-maintenance and simply ingenious.
